The DHA Internship Scholarship assists selected students as they enhance their academic experience through meaningful internships. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must conduct their internship and register for internship credit during the scholarship term. For example, in order to receive the fall 2009 internship scholarship you need to 1.) conduct your internship fall semester and 2.) enroll in DHA 4196 (internship credits) fall semester.

Friday, October 9, 2009 for fall 2009 internships
Friday, February 19, 2010 for spring 2010 internships
Friday, June 4, 2010 for summer 2010 internships
Award amount: $500
Scholarships are awarded for both paid and unpaid internships. Preference given to unpaid internships. All awards will be announced publicly.
You are eligible to apply for this scholarship if:
1. You are an enrolled undergraduate student in one of the following majors: Clothing Design, Graphic Design, Housing Studies, Interior Design or Retail Merchandising and
2. You will obtain academic credit by registering for DHA 4196 during the scholarship period and
3. You are conducting your internship during the scholarship period and
4. You are an undergraduate student in good standing (cumulative GPA is above 2.00) and
5. You have not previously received a DHA Internship Scholarship.
Note: For eligibility your internship must be conducted in the United States. For international internship experiences, apply for the DHA Undergraduate Experience Abroad Scholarship.
Applications must be received (not postmarked) no later than 4:00 p.m. on the deadline date. Late applications will not be reviewed. All applicants will receive notification of award approximately one month after the deadline.
