Limited Copyright Permission and
Statement of Fair Use
The Metropolitan Design Center welcomes use of their images and grants limited permission for their use without request; except for publication with circulation over 1,000 copies, publications that include over six images, and uses where royalties are received, and for such uses, we ask that our office be contacted for permission terms. In general, we will gladly grant it. Please include the digital id(s) of the image(s) you would like to use with your request.

For all use as part of printed materials, the Metropolitan Design Center requests two copies of any materials thus produced. For all non-printed uses, please e-mail the Digital Content Library (firstname.lastname@example.org) to inform us of the use.
The Digital Content Library (DCL) is a combined resource of the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) and the College of Design (CDes). Together, there are over 200,000 learning objects from many different disciplines in image, video, and audio formats. These objects come from a variety of sources including purchased and licensed; research materials and donations; and copystand photography. Access to the online collections is available to all University faculty, students, and staff.
